At TWO Services, we’re dedicated to doing our bit for initiatives that champion a fairer way forward for those who want a second chance at life.
We work closely with The Clink Charity, an organisation dedicated to realising the potential of prisoners who have an interest in the food service industry.
The Clink operates several restaurants across the UK, all of which are staffed by prisoners in training. Its aim is to reduce reoffending by providing these individuals with the knowledge and experience they need to enter into a career in catering or horticulture.
The prisoners at each of The Clink training projects – which are located in Brixton, High Down, and Styal – train up to 40-hours a week whilst working towards gaining their City & Guilds National Vocational Qualifications. The Clink then supports these individuals post-release by helping them secure accommodation and integrate back into the community, equipped with workforce-ready skills and eager to pursue new professional opportunities.
Our team supports the charity by carrying out regular deep cleans at The Clink’s premises at HMP Brixton. This site has a great reputation locally and is regularly placed in the Top 10 restaurants in London on TripAdvisor, so it’s well worth a visit if you’re in the area.
